Letter to future wife
For this section, I was asked to write a letter to my future wife regarding topics such as our life in the future and our journey together as a couple. Because I talked about very personal topics in my letter such as abstinence and love, I am not posting my written letter, but I picked out the most important phrase in my letter.
"I plan to treat our family with God's definition of love in the Bible in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, which says, 'Love is patient, love is kind, It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.'"
This phrase was the most important to me in my letter because my parents taught these verses to my sister and me when we were little and we were expected to love each other no matter what happens and that family should always come first. I want to have that same love in my family when I grow up and always have our family glorify God in everything we do as a family.
